Why call this
Apricot Crumble? Well, it used to be
Lucky Dip, since it's just a collection of random bits of
information gleaned from various sources, but that apricot
crumble sounds much more interesting. Over several years, I
have ripped cuttings out of newspapers and magazines and
lost them or forgotten them, or I've bookmarked numerous
sites and either forgotten to check my bookmarks or I've
switched browsers or computers and lost the links. So this
is my
aide memoire. See the left-hand menu for a
list of areas.
Recommended links
Travel lists different
internet website for various purposes, and includes a
slowly developing enumeration of places worth a visit in
different cities. I have visited anything listed here,
and think it worth including.
Literature covers some
blogs I look at from time to
time,
books I want to buy after
having had a recommendation or seen a review but haven't
got around to it,
magazines on the web to
peruse (some of which I've only glanced at but look
interesting), and finally sources of information on
aspects of
design for various things,
including visualisation of technology.
Property: I was looking
for somewhere to live in London,
buying or
renting
(January 2007).
